Seven issues of Big Allis, edited by Jessica Grim and Melanie Neilson, were published between 1989 and 1996, with cover designs by Jean Foos. The first six numbers are saddle-stapled, with number seven moving to a conventional quarto trim and perfect-binding. The journal continued for two more issues (Number 8 in 1998 and Number 9 in 2000), with Neilson joined by co-editor Deidre Kovac, which can be found at the Jacket2 Reissues site.
