60 Morning Wlaks

An extension of Fitch's investigations into collaborative poetics, and part of a projected sixty-year series of sixty-part projects (which also includes 60 Morning Walks and 60 Morning Talks), 60 Morning Wlaks was completed in 2009. The work presents sixty sections, each divided into sixty segments, and comprising sixty minutes of material recorded while walking in Manhattan as transcribed by an internet-based transcription service.
