Hejinian's second book (the self-published a gRReat adventure had been distributed a few years earlier) also inaugurated her Tuumba Press series in August, 1976. Letter press, saddle stapled, typography by Willits Printing. The title page carries a quotation from Paul Valery, and the back cover features quotations from [Vincent] Van Gogh and Wallace Fowlie.
