Absence Sensorium
Tom Mandel and Daniel Davidson
Beginning as an e-mail correspondence, Absence Sensorium was published by Potes and Poets Press (Elmwood, CT) in 1997, following the death of Davidson. The five-hundred and twenty-six stanze are composed in the metrical form of the silva: septets of seven or eleven syllable lines chosen ad libitum. Perfect bound in film-coated covers designed by Charles Alexander, with page layouts by Jeff Conant and Daniel Davidson.
